Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Angela Brennan Family Photograph Collection has been organized into two series: Family and North Dakota. The basic processing was done by Angela Brennan.

The Family Series contains 330 individual photographs of family members and family events such as weddings, confirmations, graduations, and first communions. There are four albums that contain thirty-six photographs of the Stott branch of Angela's family tree. A baby book contains three snapshots of Angela. The albums cover the years from Angela's birth in 1919 through the 1970s as do most of the photographs in the collection.

The North Dakota Series contains 143 photographs representing people, organizations, and businesses in North Dakota towns. The Montpelier, N.D. people photographs are filed according to the decades of the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. Twenty picture postcards of scenes from Fargo, Medora, New Salem, and the Peace Gardens are also included as well as a photograph album containing 370 photographs of family members from years 1950 through 1970s.
