Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Robert G. Foss Glass Negative Collection consists of 301 4x5 inch glass plate negatives and eleven 5x7 inch glass plate negatives (these are filed at the end of the collection, numbered 302-312). Very few of the negatives are identified and thus the collection has been arranged alphabetically by topic. The negatives consist mostly of images of animals, children, farm scenes, funerals, outdoor scenes, people,
river scenes, threshing, and towns. Likely most or all were taken in the Christine, N.D. area. No prints accompanied the negative collection nor have any reference prints been made.
