A Century Together Papers Photograph Collection

 Collection
Identifier: Photo Mss 1970

Scope and Contents

The A Century Together Papers photograph collection was deposited as part of the research files generated in the writing and publishing of the Fargo-Moorhead centennial history book. The collection consists of the images used in the production of the centennial history book, together with the copy negatives. Most of the prints were copied from original prints found in public and private collections, although the location of the original is not recorded on the print. A sizable number were copied from photographs found at the North Dakota Institute for Regional Studies, however no attempt has been made to link the copy in this collection with the original. The collection has been arranged alphabetically by topic into files. Although most of the images are historical, there are some that were more contemporary with the time the book was compiled. Consult the contents listing for individual file names.
