Biography

Ada Brownson was born in 1900 at Williston, N.D. She married Thomas A. Bergan and lived in Fargo, N.D. She worked as a legal secretary and as a clerk of the Selective Service Board. She also owned the Commercial Bureau printing service. She was active in local organizations, including the Order of the Eastern Star, Quota Club, P.E.O. Sisterhood, Daughters of the American Revolution, and North Dakota Society of Mayflower Descendants. She died in 1994 at the age of 94.
