Biography

Born at Ontario, Canada, son of Donald and Flora McMillan McKinnon. He emigrated in 1888, settling at Buffalo, N.D. Began working in 1890 with Frank Lynch in a farm implement business at Casselton, N.D. Formed partnership of Lynch-McKinnon in 1925. McKinnon also became director of First National Bank, Casselton. 1893 wed Margaret Ford; she also emigrated from Ontario.
