Letters, typed summary of interview (3 leaves) concerning his father, August Maas (d. 1915) who was a field repairman on the Lockhart Farm until 1886 when he quit to start his own general store at Rolette Station, Minn. (later renamed Lockhart), sold it to Carsten and Fred Wichern, built a second store in 1901 which son Carl took over. List of items on account by School District No. 39 (1917-1918) Minn., and an official copy of Heinrich and Mathilde (Wegner) Maas' will (8 pages), August's parents, dated January 11, 1897, in German.
