Biography

Scotch immigrant, foreman and manager of the Reid Farm who was born September 9, 1846 in Forfarshire, Scotland to John and Martha Petrie Duff. He married Annie McIntosh Mitchell on June 28, 1870 in Coupar Angus, Scotland. He arrived in Quebec, Canada in October of 1884 and sometime between then and the 1887 birth of his daughter Mary Christina Duff moved to Minnesota. He died June 14, 1892 in St. Vincent, Minnesota.
