Recounts Mr. Orre's experiences in the United States, primarily Barnes County, N.D., where he farmed with his cousin and fellow immigrant, Per Theodore Danielson. Documents in particular traveling to Valley City, N.D., working on local farms, logging in the northern woods of Minnesota, farming near Cuba, N.D., visiting Sweden in 1891/1892, and returning to Sweden in 1898. The farming experiences are the most detailed. Note that this reminiscences was originally published in Sweden in 1906 and then later translated in 1962.
