Biography

Attended school at Grandin, N.D., studied at Dakota Business College (Fargo, N.D.), hired by A.G. Holstrom, Grandin Farms superintendent, as bookkeeper (1907-1913). Farmed briefly near Grandin Farm No. 1, moved to Fargo, N.D. in 1918 to work for Interstate Seed and Grain Co.
