Biography
Born at Shogomac, New Brunswick, founder of Hartley Stock Farm, Page, N.D., specializing in Aberdeen Angus cattle. Also established Island Farm near Duluth, Minn., which concentrated on Guernsey cattle and head lettuce. Owner of Duluth News Tribune newspaper.
