Reminiscence (4 pages) written by Mildred (Swenson) Storhoff regarding the honeymoon trip she and husband Harry Edwin (Eddie) Storhoff took October 15-26, 1944 from wedding at Zion Lutheran Church in Nome, N.D., then to Fargo, N.D., Minneapolis, Minn. and Martell, Wisconsin. The souvenir book apparently was purchased at Duluth, Minn. for its leather cover has a color image of the Aerial Bridge there. The pre-printed booklet was completed by Mrs. Storhoff and includes gifts received and giver, then a page or two devoted to each of the stops on their honeymoon which also included Port Wing, Wisconsin and Duluth, Minn., concluding with their return to Nome on Oct. 26. Although there are pages for photographs, none were added.

Biography

Mildred Swenson was born at Nome, N.D. and Harry Storhoff in Thordenskjold Township, Barnes County, N.D. They were married on October 15, 1944 at Nome. After living a short time at Nome they moved to Duluth, Minn., returning to Nome in 1955 where they farmed. They moved to Valley City, N.D. in 1974.
