Biography

Born in County Sligo, Ireland, immigrated to America in 1846. He enlisted in the 5th U.S. Infantry, prospected for gold in Idaho, hauled freight between Cheyenne, Wyo., Sidney, Neb., and Deadwood, S.D. Settled in Foster County, N.D. in 1883. Died May 22, 1925.
