Biography

Born at Amenia Union, N.Y. Attended Williston Seminary, Conn. Wed Florence Chaffee (1849-1881), daughter of E.W. and Amanda Chaffee. Employed by Amenia and Sharon Land Co., as surveyor and manager. Wed Cornelia Lawrence (1855-1892). He and son, Robert B. Reed, established Oswego Cattle Co., Ransom County, N.D.
