Briefly mentions his mother teaching school, Meador's participation in an election, sheepshearing, construction of a pontoon bridge, purchase of a Buick in 1908. Also includes clippings of his obituary.

Biography

Born at Fayette, Ill., moved with his family to Iowa, later to Glendive, Mont. in 1882. Finally settled at Sidney, Mont. Attended college at Valparaiso, Ind. Wed Katheryne Unfred (d. 1951) in 1903. Rancher, owned a trucking firm and a construction business in Montana. Elected to both houses of Montana legislature, served as Dawson County, Mont. commissioner 1908. Organized Nonpartisan League in Montana with A.C. Townley and Burton K. Wheeler, moved to Williston, N.D. Active in Williams County (N.D.) Nonpartisan League. Died at Williston, N.D. where he was bidding on a street light project.
