Biography

Born at Ephriam, Wisc., son of Ferdinand and Bertha Schmidt. Julius changed the spelling of his family name in 1930. Wed Minnie Louise Berndt in 1900 at Brookings, S.D. Farmed in Mooreton Township, Richland County, N.D. Retired to Wahpeton, N.D. in 1939. Minnie died in 1974; he died in 1960.
