Biography
Born at Carrington, N.D., son of T.N. (Thomas N.) and Clara Belle (Rood) Putnam. Graduated from University of Minnesota, worked with his father in the lumber business and their farm. Sold the lumber business in 1933, retained as manager of the firm until 1937. Quit farming in 1933. Buried at Carrington, N.D.
