Biography

Born Margarethe Vinje at Mosviken, Trondheim, Norway. Immigrated in 1882 with her brother Ludwig. She was employed at Sullivan's Hotel, Caledonia, N.D. Wed John Opgrande, also a Norwegian immigrant, in 1884. He died 1918; she died at Halstad, Minn.
