Scope and Contents

Apparently original handwritten reminiscence (17 leaves) by Mr. Bristol of his parents, F.A. and Ida M. (Sweet) Bristol, who moved to Fargo in 1881 from Chicago and began a harness shop which later became Bristol and Sweet. Other topics include the winters, location of businesses, their several homes, milk cow, and his job delivering the Argus newspaper. There are also two typed copies done much later of the reminiscence, both of which are missing the last page. Mr. Bristol is listed as living at Redondo Beach, Calif. on the typed copies.
