Biography

Nina Hermana (maiden name was Herbrandson and/or Herbrandsdotter) was born October 1, 1883 in Caledonia, North Dakota. She was the author of "Prairie star." Daughter of Peter Herbrandson, a Norwegian immigrant who settled in Iowa and moved to N.D. circa 1877. She married Reverand Caradoc James Morgan in 1916. She died December 1, 1970 in Chicago.
