Biography

Born at Hadeland, Norway. Settled at Northwood, Iowa, then moved to Northwood, N.D. 1929-1941, editor of "Brua," contributing author to other Norwegian publications, editor of "Hallingen." Received a medal from King Olav V of Norway for his literary work, 1980 awarded second annual culture prize from Hadeland, Norway, 1981 received the Hadeland Aarbook prize for his writing.
