Biography

Rudwoj Bojcio was born in 1891 in Uljanik, Austro-Hungarian empire (in what is now Croatia). He immigrated in 1910 and was naturalized in Fargo, North Dakota in 1925. While living in North Dakota, he became a member of the Klu Klux Klan in 1920s. In addition to his KKK activities, he also worked in the Ford plant that was in downtown Fargo, North Dakota on Broadway. It is unknown when exactly he changed his name, but he did to Rudolph Bener. He died May 17, 1964 in Hubbard, Minnesota and is buried in Lake View Cemetery in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
