Galley proof of her book, Saga of a prairie teacher, which includes mention of her family, life in Minnesota, her father's drinking, moving to North Dakota, the death of a sister and a brother, her teaching experiences in Grand Forks County rural schools and in Williston, N.D. public school, attending college at Mayville and Valley City, N.D., her operation and convalescence in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and traveling after her retirement from teaching.

Biography

Born at Grand Meadow, Minn., daughter of Irish immigrants, Patrick and Ellen Lynch. Her family moved to a homestead in Grand Forks County, N.D. near Larimore. She taught country schools in Grand Forks County and later at Williston, N.D. Attended Mayville Normal School and Valley City Teachers College, graduating from the University of North Dakota. Retired to California.
