Biography

Eric Samuelson emigrated in 1878 from Sweden. He worked on the Corser Farm located near Crookston, Minn. Wed Clara Swenson, also employed at Corser Farm. They returned to Sweden in 1898, coming back to the U.S. after a year. They farmed until 1902, then bought a different parcel of land and farmed it until retiring in 1947. They were the parents of five children: Richard, Youngve, Oscar, Arthur, and Gertrude.
