The Valley City Rendering Company was incorporated in 1960 by Teft and Irene Bly of Spring Valley, Minn. and Eddie Madison of Valley City, N.D. The purpose of the company was to buy, sell, process, handle and deal in the hides, oil, fat, tallow, lard, grease, stearine, offal, horn, glue, soap, fertilizer, feathers and any and all other by-products arising out of the slaughter of animals and poultry.
