Biography
Weston G. Merrifield was born September 5, 1868 in Elk River, Minnesota. He married Charlotte M. Giff in 1898, and she died the next year. He came to Richland County, North Dakota and worked as Keystone Farm manager from 1909-1914. He was appointed appraiser for sale of Keystone Farm livestock and equipment, then worked at a lumberyard until 1915. Then he started work at the Downing Farm, at Mooreton, North Dakota.
He married a second time in 1910 to Edith Barnes. He died on 25 January 25, 1964 at the age of 95, in Hankinson, North Dakota.
