They first settled at Christine, N.D., later moved to the Dilworth, Minn. area. Includes mention of G.S. Barnes, the Barnes farm, his tree planting, Tom Rae's divorce and remarriage, and Walter B.'s bout with influenza. Includes separate typed addendum.

Biography

Walter Bruce Rae was born September 19, 1894 in Sargent County, N.D. His family moved to Clay County, Minnesota in 1899, and in 1909 moved north of Dilworth, Minn. He was left partially paralyzed after recovering from influenza in 1918. He was employed by city of Dilworth, Minn. as town clerk and waterworks superintendent. He married Helena Rae in 1960, and they moved to Shelton, Washington. He died in Seattle on June 8, 1965.
