Biography

William P. Fay was born in Winona, Minnesota on January 3, 1880. He moved with his family to Moorhead, where he attended schools. He was employed at the Moorhead Post Office, Manchester Biscuit Company and the Great Northern railway before his employment at the Standard Oil Company office in Fargo. He worked there for 21 years. He was married to Harriet Corbett in 1898 in Moorhead. They moved to Fargo in 1905. They had one daughter, Margaret. He died on December 7, 1936.
