Biography

In June of 1957 a category F5 tornado struck Fargo, providing photojournalist Cal Olsen the backdrop for his Pulitzer prize-winning photograph as well as many photographs that would occupy the Fargo Forum on its Pulitzer prize-winning journalism. This essay was part of a panel discussion that happened November 14, 2016 at the North Dakota State University Library and Ross Collins discusses photojournalism at the time of the tornado.
