A Century Together Papers Papers

 Collection
Identifier: Mss 240

Scope and Contents

The A Century Together Papers collections consist mainly of the research materials collected and drafts of the manuscript. Initially there are several files on printing instructions, various pamphlets on the Centennial celebration, and the original letters of congratulation used in the introduction of the book from President Gerald Ford, Governor Link and Anderson, and the mayors. The research papers have been organized by subject and arranged alphabetically. The various subjects vary in completeness but usually contain more information than was used in the book. The material is basically secondary source material from newspapers, magazines, books, private citizens, and businesses.
