Biographical / Historical

The 1957 tornado that hit Fargo, North Dakota on Thursday, June 20 was one of the largest to ever hit the state. The tornado, which would be later classified as an F5, took a path of destruction through the Golden Ridge neighborhood, parts of the North Dakota Agricultural College (Now North Dakota State University), and many other homes on its path towards the river. It would eventually kill twelve people, including six from one family.
