Biography

Randolph Michael Probstfield was one of the earliest residents of the Moorhead, Minnesota area. He settled in the Red River Valley in 1859 and began raising cattle and sheep. Throughout his life in the Red River Valley, Probstfield served as assessor, treasurer, clerk, school director, county commissioner, and member of the senate.
