This collection contains funeral cards, a medal, legal documents, a photograph, and newspaper clippings related to the Rudolf and Ketterling families from McIntosh County, North Dakota. The newspaper clippings have been photocopied on to acid free paper and the originals recycled.

Biography

Samuel Rudolf, Sr. was born on November 20, 1916 in McIntosh County, North Dakota to George and Caroline (Krein) Rudolf. On February 18, 1947, Samuel married Ernestine Ketterling, who was born in Zeeland, North Dakota on September 2, 1917 to Gottlieb and Margaret (Woehl) Ketterling. Samuel and Ernestine (Ketterling) Rudolf had one son: Samuel. Samuel Rudolf, Sr. died on December 6, 1983. Ernestine (Ketterling) Rudolf died on December 28, 2006.

Samuel Rudolf was born on March 17, 1951 to Samuel and Ernestine (Ketterling) Rudolf. On June 2, 1973, Samuel married Mary Layland, and they had two children: Karla and Kyle.
