Scope and Contents
This collection contains 19 photographs of members of the Nelson family. It also includes a photograph of Albert Hedlund who is related to the family. Eighteen of the photographs were removed from small collection photo 53 and incorporated into Photo 501, which at the time as only the Albert Hedlund photograph.

Biography
Born at Bransted, Sweden. Emigrated in 1882 to Harwood, N.D. Married Annie Hedlund
in 1893. 1898, they moved to Casselton, N.D. where he managed the Howe Farm until
1905. They moved to Fargo that same year and Andrew started working for the Northern
Pacific Railroad; he retired 1939. Both are buried at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, N.D.
