Three postcards that are from Ingeborg to her uncle, Benjamin Tufte from Prospect Montana, which the post office there closed in 1938. They are handwritten and are dated between 1911 (when the post office in Prospect first opened) and 1914.

Biography
Ingeborg Oline P. Bjørkum Underdahl was born in 1879 in Norway. She was married to Peter Underdahl. They had ten children total. As of the 1940 census, they had seven living children, Lillian, Pearl, Joe, Ruth, Conrod, Bernice, and Arnold. They would eventually end up farming in Moscow, Idaho.
Benjamin Tufte was the state attorney in Cooperstown, North Dakota. He was born in Sogn, Norway in 1861. He immigrated to the United States in 1887. He would eventually graduate with a law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1895. He practiced briefly in Minnesota before moving to Cooperstown to practice in 1897 where in 1898 he was elected states attorney. He left briefly to travel Europe and when he came back, he was re-elected in 1906 for states attorney.
Mr. Tufte, married Clara Feiring in 1907, who was the superintendent of education in Griggs County. They had one child, Oswald.
