Biography

The Pittsburg Homemakers Club was officially organized in November 1922 at the home of Mrs. John Hoseltore. The first enrollment of the club counted 34 members. The Pittsburg Homemakers Club is the oldest in Pembina county, North Dakota. The first president was Mrs. Frank Bellamy. The largest enrollment in the club was 103 members.

As of 1955, there were seventeen members and meetings were held every second Thursday. It is unclear if the town even still exists, and how many people live in the town.
