North Dakota Historic Sites Photograph Collection

 Collection
Identifier: Photo 420

Scope and Content

The North Dakota Historic Sites Photograph Collection is an artificial collection developed to hold general photographs showing historic sites and locations in the state. It contains twenty-six photographic prints, and one color postcard of sites and tourist attractions in the state. The majority of the photos were taken by the North Dakota Tourism Office, and were likely used as part of travel brochures, and other materials promoting the state. A number of the photos show tourists visiting sites, reading historic signs, and visiting museums. None of the photos are dated, however they would appear to have been taken in the 1960s and 1970s.
