The Richford R. Edwards Photograph Collection contains 8 photographic prints. This includes photos of R.R.'s nephew A. W. Edwards with W. C. Fields, R.R's brother George Edwards, R.R. with an RCA Theremin, R.R. dressed at his Vaudeville charactor Ole Olson, portrait of R.R. taken about 1935, and three group cast photos from the Maryland Musicanna Co.

Biography
Richford Roberts Edwards was born on September 3, 1888 in Fargo, N.D. He was the son of Alanson and Elizabeth (Robertson) Edwards. His father was a Fargo newspaper man, and founder of the Fargo Forum. Richfield started out working for his father at the Forum. He was married on January 21, 1913 to Edith Mary McAllen at Chicago, Illinois. They had on daughter Ruth, who was born in 1916, in San Diego, California. Richford began his career in the music industry in Syracuse, New York where he was the founder and business director of the Syracuse Opera Association. He worked as the manager Clark Music Co. in Watertown, New York, before moving to Washington D.C. in 1931, and becoming the secretary and general manager of the Washington Civic Opera. Around 1945, he became involved with the National Opera Association, in Baltimore, Maryland where he served as executive director. He was also the founder and manager of the Maryland Musicianna Light Opera Company. He died in September 1979 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
