Biography
Hilda M. Black was born August 31, 1884 in North Dakota. While growing up in North Dakota, she would live in several places while her father both did farming and labor. She would be farmed out for work starting in 1901. She graduated from Business College in 1907. She would marry William E. Black on August 20, 1910 and have one son who was born April 1, 1914. She would move to several places including Canada and Montana before coming to western Washington. She died August 22, 1972 in
Puyallup, Washington.
