Biography
John Albert Hill was born February 16, 1857 in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada to Henry Clark and Betsy Jane (Dolson) Hill. He would marry Elizabeth Jane Baker on May 24, 1877 in Plattsville, Ontario, Canada. Three years later, in 1880, John and his family would emigrate to Cass county in Dakota Territory. There, Hill would farm the land. He and Elizabeth would have eight children.
John died November 23, 1930 in Cass County, North Dakota. He is buried in Wheatland, North Dakota. Elizabeth would die in 1956.
