Biography

Nina Hermana (maiden name was Herbrandson and/or Herbrandsdotter) was born October 1, 1883 in Caledonia, North Dakota. Daughter of Peter Herbrandson, a Norwegian immigrant who settled in Iowa and moved to N.D. circa 1877. She married Reverand Caradoc James Morgan in 1916. In the early 1920s she and her husband moved to Oregon City, Oregon where Caradoc was the pastor at First Congregational Church. She was the author of "Prairie star." She died December 1, 1970 in Chicago. She is buried in River View Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
