Biography
Charles H. Eggert was born in Grammentin, Germany on March 24, 1873 (or 1874). He arrived in Baltimore Maryland on May 15, 1888. He eventually made his way to North Dakota. He would homestead in the seat and farm near Mapleton.
He married Katherine B. Brinkman and they had seven children. The family would eventually move to Warren, North Dakota. Following the death of Katherine in 1957, Charles moved to Fargo, where he would died on May 19, 1965.
