Biography

Tollef Torgerson was born Telemark, Norway in August 1, 1867. He arrived in the U.S. in the later part of the 1800s. He moved to Glyndon, Minnesota where he farmed until 1923. He married Minnie Thuaney August 9, 1890., they had Had at least six children. He and the family eventually moved to Moorhead, Minnesota after his retirement from farming. But Tollef didn’t stay retired, he went into the cattle selling and hauling business. He finally fully retired in 1957.

Tollef died Friday April12, 1963 in Moorhead and is buried in Glyndon, Minnesota.
