Biography
Ana (or Anna) was born December 23, 1851 in Stenkjaer, Norway to Thore Jonsen and Anne Pedersdatter. She arrived to the U.S. in August of 1877 in Philadelphia. She did file for naturalization in 1881 in Cass County. In 1883 she married Anton Bendix Anderson and they had four children, Anna, Alma, Thora, and Peter. Ana resided in Hamlin, South Dakota for much of her life.
Ana died in 1930 and is buried in Hayti, South Dakota.
