History
COVID-19, was a contagious disease caused by the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The first known case was identified in China in December 2019. The disease quickly spread worldwide, resulting in a global pandemic. The first confirmed case in North Dakota was identified on March 11, 2020, in Ward County. Governor Doug Burgum declared a state of emergency on March 13.
