North Dakota Church History Collection

 Collection
Identifier: Mss 143

Scope and Contents

This collection of North Dakota church histories consists of written historical sketches, directories, and small booklets. More substantial, published church histories are cataloged and placed in the Institute book collection. Access to the cataloged items is through the online catalog. This collection does contain a few Moorhead, Minnesota church directories. The collection is arranged alphabetically by North Dakota community and then by name of church. Cross references have been provided for items that include more than a single church. Each listing gives the name of the church, date of publication if known, and a letter to signify whether a directory (D), newspaper or magazine article (N), booklet (B), Program (P), or typescript (T). The Minnesota Series is listed at the end of this finding aid.
