Scope and Contents

The Ever-Helpful Homemakers Club Scrapbook consists of a page devoted to each member that held an office within the club. Many of them include a snapshot of the woman with a list of the offices and other leadership positions they held and what year. The pages begin with the first president, Mrs. William Lyter, which includes a snapshot of her. Others with photographs include Mrs. Oliver Sveum, Mrs. R.J. Argabright, Mrs. E.B. Patterson, Mrs. C.B. Argabright, Mrs. John Rohrer, Mrs. Christ Johnson, Mrs. Carl Johnson, Mrs. J.P. Christenson, Mrs. C.A. Van Sweringen, Mrs. M.J. Costello and Mrs. William Tabbert. The scrapbook appears to conclude with the 1954-1955 club year. Also included in the scrapbook is a handwritten copy of the club’s constitution (6 leaves), although it is not dated.
