The A. R. Scherling Christian Literature Book Collection was donated to the NDSU Libraries by the Scherling family in the 1980s. Although processed they were never added to the NDSU Libraries online catalog. In 2008 the book collection was transferred to the Institute for Regional Studies for processing and making the volumes available to the research public, while retaining them as a single collection.
