Scope and Contents From the Collection: The End Notes contains footnote citations for each of the chapters in Plains Folk. The one exception is the chapter devoted to Scandinavians written by Playford Thorson, for which there are no known footnotes. At the end of each chapter is a ‗Bibliographic Essay‘ listing books and articles likely used by the author in writing the chapter.
