Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Evan S. Tyler papers are organized into two series: Correspondence and Subject files. The Correspondence Series is arranged chronologically and covers the period 1877 to 1918. It is almost exclusively outgoing letters to Mr. Tyler's son Max for the period 1905 to 1918 and is quite complete for the years of 1910 to 1918.
