Content Description
The Joel and Rose (Ibach) Ivey Collection contains ten photos, census records, a commomorative card, and marriage and communion certificates.
The photographs include Ibach family group photos, house and house close-ups, and a farm panoramic. The panoramic photograph is of the Anton Ivey farm, including horses, the house, barn, and a group of family members seated by a parlor table. Another photo includes a color photograph of a family group. Seven color photographs depict different perspectives of the Anton Ibach house.
The Census records include the 1915 and 1925 census records for the family of Anton Ibach. The photocopy of the 1915 Census of North Dakota, Emmons County, shows family of Anton Ibach, Margaretha, Joseph, Bendick [sic], Mariana, Anton, Johannes, Franz, Mick, Wendelin, and Carl. The photocopy of the 1925 Census of North Dakota, for Emmons County showing family of Anton Ibach/ Ebach, Monika, Anton, John, Franz, Mike, Wendelin, Paul, and Elisabetha. Margaretha and Rosa Muth are also recorded.
The Certificates include the Memorial of Marriage Michael Ibach and Margaret Mitzel on 5 November 1935 in the church of St. Aloysius. Witnesses include Valentine Stappler and Vincent Schmidt. There is a Certificate of the rememberance of First Holy Communion of Margaret Mitzel. Also included is a Certificate of the remeberance of First Holy Communion of Michael Ibach.
The commemorative card states, "Andenken an die Hl. Mission gehalen von den Hochw. Joseph A. Ahn, C. PP. S".
